  • Privacy protection. No private data is stored on the mobile device.
  • Masked account numbers. It masks account numbers with Xs whenever practical within the application.
  • Multi-factor authentication. Mineola Community Bank is now offering 2-Factor Authentication for Online Banking and Mobile Banking. 2-Factor Authentication is an extra layer of security to your account.  Upon enabling this feature, you will be required to provide your Online Banking Password and a security code sent to your mobile phone via text or to enter the code from an authentication app.* This identity verification method combines something you have (a code or token) with something you know (a password).  2-Factor Authentication is more effective in securing account access than a password alone, making it more difficult for unauthorized Online Banking access.  To enable 2-Factor Authentication, please navigate to the User Preference page under MyService in Online Banking or the Profile page on the mobile app.
